  • Alyce Smith-Cooper, of southeastern San Diego, is a longtime actor and ancestral storyteller who has performed at the Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse and the Lyceum Theatre, and is performing at the Logan Heights Library on May 21. She’s also been recognized for her work by the San Diego Women’s Hall of Fame, the California Arts Council, and the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art
